As an ambassador for The Real Stakes, Owies is on a mission to raise awareness about the risks of online sports gambling. He chats about how gambling ads are everywhere, making it seem like having a punt is just a normal part of watching the footy.
Owies wants to help educate younger players and change the culture around gambling in clubs. The goal is to show them that you don’t need to gamble to enjoy the game and to create a more supportive environment for everyone.
